SOLO Exhibition Competitions

$99 Entry fee. Enter up to 5 images of your best art.

Choose "SOLO Exhibition" for each location that you would like this opportunity.

Solo Exhibitions provide a featured, distinct, solo artist room or special featured wall or area at the exhibition.

Solo Exhibition artists are included in a world-wide press release.

This is an unprecidented opportunity for artists to submit work to show their art in major art venues.

One artist will win this SOLO opportunity per competition.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to any artist who is at least 18 years of age. Eligible entries include all mediums, excluding video and installations. All work must be the original work of the applicant, suitable for gallery installation and available for sale.

All 2D works should be framed or gallery wrapped with no visible staples on sides. All 2D work must be completely prepared for hanging. All 3D work must be able to stand freely on the floor or freely on a provided podium that is 18 inches square.

ARTWORK SIZE
The artwork in their shipping materials must be able to fit through the gallery door and can be carried by two people.

IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
All image files should be good quality,  file size must be under 2MB and of the original work.

Only online entries are accepted since our jurors are from several countries and all have to have access to the images.

ENTRY PROCESS
There are 4 easy steps to the entry process.

1. Start by registering with the "ENTER ART" link.

2. Select the specific competitions and opportunities you want.

3. Make online payment for the art entry fees.

4. Upload your images and fill in information about each artwork.

• Next, the curatorial team reviews the artwork submitted and selects the exhibition artists and pieces.
• If selected, you will be informed and will ship your selected art on to the exhibition.                                                                                                                             
• Art exhibition is held, potential show and sale of your art.
• Payment is made to artists on sold artwork. Artists receive 50% of the retail art sales price.
• Gallery typically provides assistance to repackage and reship for return of any unsold artwork. Artist pays for return shipping of their own art.

ENTRY FEES
Fee: $69 to enter up to 5 images for consideration in the group show.  $99 Entry fee for a solo exhibition. Nonrefundable. 

(Keep in mind if your entries are accepted into the exhibition, you will be responsible for shipping costs to and from the exhibition.)

NOTIFICATION
The names of the accepted artists and their accepted pieces will be posted on ShowArtists.com.  Accepted artists will also be notified by email. The status of the entries will not be discussed over the phone or by email. All curatorial team decisions are final.

ACCEPTANCE
Artists whose works are accepted for the live exhibition will need to ship their artwork to arrive by the show arrival deadline. There will be no exceptions. In order to insure the quality of the exhibition, accepted works may be withheld from the exhibition at the gallery's discretion. Accepted works must remain with the gallery for the duration of the exhibit. Pieces must be the art that is requested. No substitutions, without prior permission.

LOCATION
A specific location and date is established for each competition in advance. Each location and exhibition date is subject to change based on acts of God, and unforeseen circumstances. If the location is changed, all winners will be given the option to keep their awards and exhibit at the new location or have their entry fees returned.

SHIPPING
The artist is responsible for shipping the selected artwork to and from the exhibition. The artwork should arrive with a reusable shipping box with a return shipping label.

SALES
A 50% commission will be retained by Art Curated Gallery /ViA Galeria on all sales. Works will be sold at the price indicated on the entry form, unless changed through a mutual decision between the artist and the gallery.

Art Curated Prize and Emerging Artist Discovery Award ONLINE Competitions:

The Art Curated Prize is a juried, online only competition sponsored by ShowArtists and Art Curated Gallery.

The winner recieves an international PR ( public relations) package.

All rules are the same as our other competitions except that the art is shown only online, does not ship to a destination, there is 1 winner and the prize is the PR package.
